Dr Obama and Mr Osama - who do we have?

So Osama Bin Laden or OBL as the Twitteratti seems to refer to him is blasted into his little heaven or hell. Obama is strutting around like a peacock in all glory assuring himself of term 2. Conspiracy theorists are on about OBL not dead, it was Pakistan that actually tipped off the US, No2 in Al-Qaeda (some Wahiri chap or some such name) tipped off the US so that he could be No1, US had actually killed OBL a long time ago, this was just hogwash, why no pictures, why buried at sea and on and on.

So after all this here are the facts. The US sent in a team of trained, navy seals, into another country, killed someone in a house, took off from there with the body and returned while good ol' Pak was left wondering, "what the fuck?" or some such equivalent. Wow. Quite an achievement I would say.

India has jumped onto the bandwagon and said, "See see, I said so." Now they are trying the little kid who wants lollipop line. "My killers are also there, can I also do same same?" Dude, if you wanted to do it, you should have done it first time round and then raised your middle finger. If you didn't have then balls then don't cry me too now.

All said and done, I must say glossing over the legality of the whole operation it was one gutsy move. And just for that Obama would get his second term me thinks. Very few leaders around the world who can live up to that move. Let's look around - there is that Italian chap who has having a fine time with chicks as old as his grand daughter ... nothing wrong of course, just not in the same line of comparison as OBM killing OBL. There is the French dude who travels with trophy wife and high heels so that he can reach up to trophy wife, nothing much of significance there than high heels, but then if that was the case, we would have Victoria Beckham as a world leader. There is the Pakistani chap who ... wait a minute ... which one again? Exactly who is nondescript. There is Gadafi (as of now still counts) who parades his Amazonian warriors ... if he isn't doing them I am a little concerned ... what's with moving around with Lara Croft and not getting action?  There is the Venezuelan nut who screams socialism while getting rich - ignorable. Chinese man who is never in the news, he just needs to ensure iPads are made and Tibetans killed - that's easy.

Which brings me to good ol' (literally) MMS. No you dirty, rotten scoundrel, not the one with the sex in it. Actually the one with no sex in it me thinks! Right, downright horrible joke acknowledged. Time to move on.

So we have had scam upon scam, fast upon fast, treasure trove upon even bigger treasure trove of money unearthed as money made through illegal means and still MMS remains steadfast. Either he didn't know or he was forced to ignore or he had no choice. Well doesn't say much for him does it?

But then again, what are the other options that we have as PM candidates
Lotus party - wants to 'Hinduize' the country. No steaks and running around gods! Nope not for me.
Dead everywhere except China, Kerala and will get to know about Bengal soon party - you kidding me!
Hand of everyone except God - Sigh, kids, grandkids, the next gen .... when will it stop
NO one else - please do NOT say Mamta Banerjee, Jayalalitha or Mayawati and their respective acolytes.

SO there you go, in a life filled with no such choices, what do we do?

This post has meandered from where it started off (I wanted to write about the legality of the whole thing) and has now ended in a our future as a country sucks if our would be politicians are any sign of things to come. Well that is how life is too. You start off doing something, you end up doing something else!
