The BATTLE serialized
BACKGROUND
Imagine a nice, little Delhi girl walking into the hustle and bustle of Mumbai. I mean Delhi is just a village that has grown unlike where she is right now. And she feels out of place.
Now I will chuck all the parts about how she feels while getting used to the big bad city and go straight into what happened.
She is looking for a decent flat and a nice roomie which in case of Mumbai is looking for the broken tip of a needle in 4 huge haystacks. Anyway she looks and looks and finally finds a guest house for herself and life seems to be dandy and nice till the guest house owner turns out to be a bitch (not literally of course) and somehow after occasions were police were called but unable to do anything and losing deposit money etc this little Delhi girl has to leave that place. Her name is AASTHA!
Cut to scene where someone else from her institute is there in the same city.
She has got this brute of a person looking like the HULK incarnate at her arms length always and by herself is a force to reckon with. Maybe not by size but everything doesn't have to so obvious. She is living in the same city and is on the lookout for some bakra (bakri in this case). And hence one fine day she bumps into the little girl. Now here it would be appropriate to think of the movie 101 Dalmatians. There is an evil woman with a goon and there is the good girl or puppy or dog. Now some things don't have to be taken literally, I am not calling Aastha a dog or anything …. just trying to get some analogies working here. The name of the EVIL WOMAN is PRIYANKA!
So we have P bumping into A and brainwashing A into moving in with her. I think it is the Mumbai pollution or the fact that she is away from her hometown but her judgements are clouded and inspite of the best efforts of THIS AUTHOR she does move in with P.
A few months into the moving in ceremony, well there was no ceremony but P moving in with A is a cause for celebration for any gossip mongering person for the results would be cataclysmic. AND THEY WERE!

The following story is abt a dear batchmate of yours vs. a dear batchmate of mine (man I love that line) basically it is Dhari Vs Aastha (best actress in leading role) as is the concept thingie nowadays it’s more of a woman oriented movie. But there are best actors in supporting roles that is Big Jalan and Crazy Ladia
Dhari and aastha were roommates. But soon they decide they cannot stay together. Finally it comes to a point where one of them has to move out.
Aastha offers to move out as long as dhari pays her the money she has given as deposit for the house. Dhari says she has to be given one month notice. Aastha agrees. And gives her one month notice ... anyway after the month is thru dhari refuses to return money still, saying that she will return the money only if she finds a new roommate who will share that flat.
Now that’s very unfair. But then aastha offers to pay her the half deposit as long as dhari moves out and everything was agreed upon and sealed signed delivered so as to say. Dhari wud move out within 2 days. This happens when jalan intervenes for dhari including asking aastha to clear out immediately and ladia intervenes in place of aastha and somehow things are agreed upon. But when aastha returns to Mumbai after Diwali hols, dhari hasn’t moved and has no intentions of doing so.... now how can aastha
1. Get dhari out?
2. Move out herself but ensure that she gets her part of the money.

Oh me oh my – this is hilarious…first of all…why were they staying together??? Why why why??? Give me the flashback – what is a serial without a flashback after all?
And what led to this bit of animosity where one has to move out? It's like that Highlander movie / serial tagline ("there can be only one")
Of course the best bet is to stay and irritate the hell out of each other. Let's see what each can do:
1) With PD it's simple – she has to speak. Do I have to remind you?
2) With AG – it's not so simple – I am suggesting a plethora of unruly boys in the apartment, or a continuous supply of booze.
Need continuous updates pls.
Have marked an ex-roommate of one of the protagonists. May I ask her for her valuable inputs?

Hey Guys....
Well let me make it very clear.... I m an ex-roomie of P.D.... so I have to be against her... coz I too had a very very tough time shifting out of the room after the 1st year in IIFT. Well the only thing that can drive P.D out is ............. Ask Aastha to command her to keep the room clean... to change the bedcovers every week........!! Believe me it will drive Dhari out of her wits.............. Keep up the good work Nagu and Bull

I have probably had the most experience in throwing PD out of the room while retaining jallu in the room. The trick to do that is to have lots of booze and cigarette smoke floating in and around the room. Thru 2nd yr mishtu and I managed this trick as PD refused to venture anywhere near the room with the booze and the smoke (and the constant abusing as well) as it would anger the ever pervading and prevalent spirit of all that is holy (read BADE PAPA).
Of course now you may succeed in keeping jallu away also with all this since he seems to have taken the holy bade papa vow post his involvement with PD.
