Well people after our (pushpi and me) travails oh I am sorry I mean travels to far and wide ... parts of the country I didn’t know existed ... we are back!
Well pushpi has managed to get transferred to Delhi where he will stay and do nothing ... I have managed not to get transferred to Delhi and stay on in Mumbai (for the time being which can mean anything from 1 week to 1 month) and I will stay here and do nothing.
Well not anything actually ... my scheming mind just thought up something. Well ever since Don Quixote & Sancho Panza, Bonny & Clyde and our very own desi Bunty & Bubbly, I thought it wud be good fun to have some pair like that ... and didn’t have to look far ... saw one in Delhi ONGC office.
So here is to Samrat Sen and Pushpinder Garg ...henceforth to be known as Smarty Sen and Pee Garg (or Smart Ass and Pee Pee) ... (I am open to suggestions on which wud be the better option) and their worthless doings to be given importance by me chronicling them ...
Well as they gorge on ice creams at 11 o clock outside office after reaching the same at ten mins to 11, I am sure they will feel the need say something against this tirade ... well let them have their say too ...if their greed and laziness allow them.
So long everyone and all of u can keep walking, talking, working, eating, lazing and whatever it is that all of u do (sorry Sumit couldn’t resist that one).
The Don mentioned earlier was specifically referred to bcoz he supposedly was so brave that he attacked everything that moved ... legend has it that he once attacked a windmill too. However, the jury is still out as to whether the Don was a brave and chivalrous knight or just a romantic old fool.

It is all about accepting differences - spoiler alert

I have never reviewed a movie, much less a series. In fact, there were a lot of firsts with this series, Made in Heaven. It is the first Indian web series, I have watched It is the first series, I have binge watched It is the first series, I have rewatched (all 9 episodes, no less) And now it shall be the first series I write about Quite a hard hitting series and so tastefully done! When you include ostentatious weddings, systemic misogyny, anti LGBT rhetoric, myopic views, current political climate, the complete lack of correlation between being educated and belief in superstition and the intersection of class with progress, you have a huge canvas to work on. Winning doesn't mean it is right

SO the results are out. The 2019 general elections to constitute the 17th Lok Sabha that took place over a month culminated in this day - May 23rd 2019. The BJP (forming the NDA along with its allies), won a landslide victory. A party with its narrative steeped in virulent nationalism, focusing on an India which is a far cry from the ideals on which the nation was born. A country which was aptly described by Shashi Tharoor in his book, The Great Indian Novel as a thali where different items are not mashed up but come together as a meal rather than a porridge which is a mish mash of everything and individuality doesn't stand out - that is the India we know of and we strive to cherish.
